C. L. Butch Mayhugh, founder and developer of STRESS LINE 2000, realized many years ago that all horses experience body stress in some manner because they are all natural athletes. While working with his own race horses in the late 1960’s, Butch saw that horses need much more than the typical sweats, mud, leg wraps and alcohol baths to remedy the stress, strains, and injuries of competition. He developed a method he calls “pain mapping” to locate and isolate stress points and latent deep muscle problems that plague horses of every discipline and breed. Stress Line Therapy provides a solution to a horse’s problems through pursuing the exact cause instead of treating the symptom. Butch’s knowledge, expertise, and common-sense approach have led him to become widely-known and sought after as a leading equine practitioner from Texas to the West Coast.

Butch Mayhugh was one of the first in the equine industry to apply chiropractic, body work and alternative methods on horses in 1980 after years of training race horses. Since then, Butch has devoted his time to fine-tuning this work, sharing with others and developing new products for a changing industry.
